Welcome to Ellis Wharton Wines
Ellis Wharton Wines was established in 2006 by David Ellis and Charles Wharton. We have spent much of our time sourcing a wide selection of wines from around the world. The list is ever changing as and when we find new wines to get excited about.
We wanted our business to accentuate the positives and eliminate the negatives about wine. Those positives that we aim to promote are: wines of terroir and typicity; wines of providence; delicious, tasty, unmediated wines; diversity of style and indigenous grape varieties; the endeavours of small independent growers; and the importance of sustainable, organic viticulture. Every wine tells a story and that story deserves to be told.
Between us we have over 50 years experience in the wine, restaurant and hospitality industries, so we very much look forward to being able to help you find wines that you will really enjoy drinking. If you have any questions regarding any of the wines in our list please do contact us, either by email or by phone. In this modern era we are still quite old fashioned in one aspect of our business, as we do actually like speaking to our customers.

Finding the perfect wine for you is simple with our amazingly easy search method. Just click the items on the menu on the left of the page and wines matching your selection will be presented to you.
For example, click White, New Zealand and £15-29.99 and only wines matching those three criteria will be presented.
Clicking on an item you have already selected removes that criteria from your search.
