The Cascinone project began in 1999. Thanks to the good intuition of Claudio Manera’s father, Livio Manera, Araldica purchased one of the jewels of the Monferrato area. Cascinone’s vineyards had been hard to maintain because of the steepness of the slopes and over the last 20 years many vines have been lost. Now, with modern equipment and tractors it has been possible to make these steep slopes productive again, 70 hectares of the 102 have been reclaimed and are in full production.
