Bergaglio Cinzia (Tassarolo)

Located in Tassarolo, Bergaglio’s vineyard comprises five hectares, of which only one is currently in production. This is a young enterprise and 2005 was effectively the first commercial vintage of the wine. Cortese, the native grape variety here, tends to perform best in the hills between Novi and Tortona. The grape has been so successful in Gavi (which is located in the south of Piemonte, close to Liguria) that it is known locally as Cortese di Gavi.
