Chateau Belles-Graves is situated on the top of a hill on the plateau of Néac in the centre of the Appellation of Lalande de Pomerol, and the best place to taste its wines. It is a beautiful Chartreuse from the XVIIIth century surrounded by 14 hectares of vines. These vineyards are on a gravelly crest facing south. Two varieties are used: Merlot, which is dominant at 80 percent of the surface area and Cabernet Franc. www.bellesgraves.com
